Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using HeySophia. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
HeySophia is an AI-powered virtual companion service operated by Synthetic Companion Ltd. The service provides conversational interactions, digital media content, and virtual credits for use within the platform.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. By registering an account, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to suspend accounts found to belong to underage users.
HeySophia is strictly an adults-only platform. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to register for, access, or use any part of the Service. By creating an account, you expressly represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
We employ a mandatory age verification system that requires you to complete a verified payment transaction via our secure payment processor as a condition of accessing age-restricted content and features. This process serves as our primary age verification mechanism. You understand that providing payment details associated with an account held by a person aged 18 or over is an integral part of this verification process.
Any attempt to circumvent, bypass, or defeat the age verification system — including but not limited to: using another person's payment details without authorisation; providing false, misleading, or fabricated information about your age; using virtual cards, prepaid cards, or other payment methods intended to obscure your true identity or age; or exploiting technical vulnerabilities in the verification system — shall constitute a material breach of these Terms.
If we discover, or have reasonable grounds to suspect, that you are under the age of 18, or that you have provided false information during the age verification process, or that you have attempted to circumvent our age verification measures in any way, we reserve the right to:
If your account is terminated under this Section 3, you shall not be entitled to any refund — whether partial or full — of any amounts paid for "coins," subscriptions, packages, or any other digital goods or services purchased through the platform, regardless of whether such purchases were made before or after the account ban. All forfeitures under this clause are final and non-negotiable.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HeySophia, its parent company, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your breach of the age requirements set forth in this Section 3.
Coins are virtual credits purchased for use within the HeySophia platform. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for real-world currency.
All purchases of virtual credits are final and non-refundable. As digital credits are consumed immediately upon use within the service, we cannot offer refunds once a purchase has been completed. This policy is in accordance with UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 exemptions for digital content that has been consumed.
Prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds Sterling) inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but existing credits will not be affected.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store, process, or have access to your credit card or banking details at any point. Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe under their security infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for violation of these terms or any behaviour we deem harmful to the service or other users. Upon termination, any remaining virtual credits will be forfeited.
All content, software, designs, and intellectual property on this platform are owned by Synthetic Companion Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synthetic Companion Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
